Further, the registry recommends all other Internet Service Providers, that want to include .SAARLAND into their offering, to ensure now that their domain wholesaler will support .SAARLAND registrations from the launch start on July 17. All accredited registrars and official providers of .SAARLAND will be published soon on the registry website.
The registration of .SAARLAND domains will only be possible through registrars accredited with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the dotSaarland GmbH, or through a reseller of these accredited registrars. Registrar that want to become accredited for .SAARLAND are invited to contact nic.saarland by e-mail to sales@nic.saarland to receive the onboarding package. To speed up the accreditation process they can fill out the Registrar Information Form in advance and send it with their first approach.
“After the first successful accreditations we will publish a list of official registrars on the registry website”, announces Alexander Siffrin, CEO of dotSaarland GmbH. “Furthermore, we will list any other provider offering .SAARLAND known by us in a separate list to make it as easy as possible for registrants to find the right provider for them. For providers without direct accreditation it is now very important to clarify with their wholesale provider if .SAARLAND will be supported by him to be best prepared for the launch start on July 17.”
